The fourth round of the Danish Championship visited Aalborg yesterday. In the MX1 class Nichlas Bjerregaard took the overall with a 1-2 score. Stefan Kjer Olsen, returning from retirement this season, won the second race and crucially took an extra seven points over championship leader Jakob Kjaer Nielsen. Kjaer Nielsen now holds a single point advantage over Thomas Kjer Olsen’s older brother Stefan.
In the MX2 class grand prix star Mikkel Haarup made an appearance and swept the board. Haarup has been suffering badly with injuries in his debut grand prix season, so getting two wins at home will be good for him. Glen Meier finished second overall and now leads the championship by 50 points over Mads Sjoholm.
Zander Albertsen took a double race win in the 125s and now holds a 3 point lead over William Kleemann.
